For over a year now I have watched the world in disbelief. These songs are a form of protest, but I'm not even sure about what. One thing I do know is that our freedom is at risk and that the fight for liberty should not be left to right-wing 'libertarians.' Like the filmmaker Adam Curtis, I am grasping for a more radical libertarianism, but what might that be? In the meantime, these songs chronicle some very dark times...and a long time passing.
