This album was recorded in the Spring of 2020, during the first UK 'lockdown.' We sent WAV files to each other by 'We Transfer' (hence the album title) and then improvised with the other's track without listening to it first, so as to approximate virtually the experience of actual free improvisation 'in the moment' (as they say). With the exception of tracks 1 and 10, this is what is heard on this album. On the latter two tracks, you hear take 2 on the pedal steel guitar. This was also the first time we had played together, which added to the adventure.
