The tracks on this album are all backing tracks from either released or as yet unreleased material. I enjoy writing lyrics and I love to sing, but the results are often deeply disappointing to me: that is not the voice I hear inside my head!! So, during the course of endless takes trying to get the vocals to an acceptable level, I often abandon such projects in disgust and self-loathing and start working on instrumental versions instead. The results can be heard on this album. Needless to say, I eventually return to the vocals and produce something that's OK-ish. So each of these songs does have a vocal equivalent somewhere.
