The music on this album is strictly confined to the pedal steel guitar and the acoustic guitar in numerous combinations (duos, trios, quartets, quintets). Each piece concentrates on and explores specific musical 'trademarks' that I have accumulated (usually unconsciously) over many years of playing. Rather than attempt to avoid these tics and cliches, I prefer to focus on them, as that which has given form to the kind of music I end up producing. Idiomatically, this album is wide-ranging and reflects my undiminished interest in all forms and genres of music.
